Annual Day Celebration @ Vincentian Minor Seminary, Pala

"Annual Day is a time to applaud achievements, cherish memories, and move forward with renewed enthusiasm."

On the evening of February 8th, we joyfully celebrated the Annual Day of our seminary. The event was titled “Nexo,” a Portuguese word meaning “a chain of connected things.” Given the growing influence of artificial intelligence in our lives, we chose a theme that reflected this modern era of connectivity and innovation.

We were honored to have Mr. Eby J. Jose, a well-known patriot and human rights activist, as our Chief Guest. The presence of Rev. Fr. Provincial further added grace and significance to the occasion.The evening unfolded with a variety of engaging performances, including melodious songs, dynamic dance routines, an insightful speech on artificial intelligence, and a short film directed by Fr. Dilvin. Our teachers and the sisters from neighboring religious communities joined us in witnessing the talents of our brothers and appreciating their growth.

The event was also an opportunity to recognize and encourage our brothers for their outstanding achievements. Prizes were awarded for their performances in Vinz Fest—both as group and individual champions across arts, sports, and literary categories—along with the overall championship. Additionally, we celebrated the scholastic excellence of two brothers who excelled academically this year.The Annual Day celebration not only showcased the talents and achievements of our community but also strengthened the bonds of fraternity and shared purpose within our seminary.
