Annual Evaluation Meeting of the Popular Mission Retreat Team (Malayalam)

The Annual Evaluation and Planning Meeting of the Popular Mission Retreat Team (Malayalam) of the St. Joseph Province of the Vincentian Congregation was held at the Vincentian Provincial House, Kottayam.

The gathering commenced with an hour of Eucharistic Adoration, offered in thanksgiving to God for the abundant blessings bestowed upon the Popular Mission Retreats conducted during the past year. The members prayerfully entrusted their ministry and the forthcoming year's mission activities to the Lord.

Following the adoration, the retreat team assembled for a comprehensive evaluation of the previous year's Popular Mission Retreats and deliberated on plans and priorities for the retreats in the coming year. The meeting was led by Rev. Fr. Tony Moonupeedikackal VC, Councillor for Retreats, Popular Mission and Pastoral Works, with the active leadership of Rev. Fr. Sonu Kulathur VC, Director of the Popular Mission Retreat Team (Malayalam), and Rev. Fr. Justin Kappalumackel VC, Assistant Director.

The discussions focused on several important aspects of the popular mission retreats, including the increasing difficulty in ensuring the availability of priests for Popular Mission ministry and various pastoral and organizational concerns related to the effective conduct of future retreats. The members also proposed practical suggestions and strategies to enhance the spiritual impact and outreach of the Popular Mission apostolate in the year ahead.

The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to proclaim the Gospel through the Popular Mission ministry and ended on a joyful note with an agape fellowship at noon.
