Ayaloram: A New Dawn for Elderly Care in Kerala

Kerala’s shifting demographic landscape, marked by youth migration abroad, is reshaping our social fabric. As families evolve, innovative solutions are vital to ensure the well-being and happiness of our elderly population.

In response to this growing need, Vincentian Social Services (De Care) has launched Ayaloram (Next to Them) – a unique community-based initiative designed to create a therapeutic family for the elderly. Ayaloram provides a safe, joyful space where seniors can connect, share, and truly thrive.

Through Ayaloram, our cherished elders will share their life stories, engage in laughter and camaraderie, play games, sing songs, and crack jokes, go on picnics and enjoy beautiful moments of togetherness.
