Blood Donation Camp Held at Vincentian House, Dharan Nepal

A significant blood donation camp was successfully organized at Vincentian House, Dharan, on Saturday, January 17, marking an important community health initiative. The program was conducted through a collaborative effort between the Vincentian Ashram and the Lions Club of Dharan Bijapur, with effective operational coordination from the Red Cross Society of Dharan and the St. John Bosco Catholic community.

The camp began promptly at 9:30 a.m. and was graced by the presence of the Deputy Mayor of Dharan, Mr. Aindra Bikram Begha, who attended as the chief guest. Several distinguished members of the Lions Club from various parts of Nepal were also present, expressing their appreciation for the well-organized initiative. Their participation underscored the importance of collective responsibility in addressing public health needs.

The blood donation drive witnessed enthusiastic and encouraging participation from the parish community. A notable highlight of the event was the large number of first-time donors who courageously came forward to donate blood, reflecting a strong sense of social responsibility and compassion. Their selfless contribution served as an inspiration to others.

Additionally, the initiative drew active involvement from neighbouring community members, further strengthening awareness about the life-saving value of voluntary blood donation.
