Compassion in Action: Vincentian Social Service Team Dharan, Nepal Supports Manasewa Ashram

In a meaningful act of compassion and solidarity, the Vincentian Ashram, Dharan, in collaboration with the Catholic Amma Samuha of St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Dharan, conducted a charitable visit to Manasewa Ashram.

The joint outreach team extended support to 28 residents of the ashram, men often described as elderly and abandoned, many of whom have faced significant life challenges. During the visit, volunteers distributed essential food items and personal toiletries, addressing the immediate needs of the residents.

Beyond material assistance, the team offered companionship and encouragement, fostering a sense of belonging and dignity among the residents. The interaction served as a reminder that they remain valued members of the community.

This initiative underscores the importance of collaborative efforts in social service, demonstrating how united action among faith-based groups can effectively respond to the needs of vulnerable populations and promote human dignity.
