CRNP GATHERING BRINGS SPIRITUAL RENEWAL AND FELLOWSHIP AT VINCENTIAN HOUSE, DHARAN
On August 26, Tuesday coinciding with Nepal's celebration of Hartalika Teej, the CRNP gathering was held at the Vincentian House, Dharan. The registration began at 10 AM followed by the insightful spiritual session led by Fr. Nicholas SJ.
In his talk, Fr. Nicholas SJ reminded us that the importance of Jubilee Year which calls for a profound change of heart. He described life as a pilgrimage, a sacred journey toward the heavenly City of God, emphasizing that we are all pilgrims on this path. This reflection challenges me to ask: am I helping my fellow travellers on this journey, and is my pilgrimage a solitary one or a communitarian endeavour with others?
This was followed by a period of prayer and reflection during the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Six priests were available to administer the Sacrament of Reconciliation, offering a profound opportunity for personal renewal.
The community then celebrated Holy Mass, presided over by Fr. Jomon SJ, which included anticipated wishes for the upcoming feast of St. Monica. A group photo was taken to commemorate the day. Following a shared lunch, the assembly reconvened for discussions focused on educational and pastoral activities. And the CRNP team welcomed new religious members to the Deanery.
The fruitful gathering concluded with a vote of thanks by Sr. Amelia Morres SCN before the participants departed.
