Family Day Celebration 2k26

The celebration began on April 30 at Vincentian House, Adichira, with the evening gathering known as Snehamuttom. It was a truly vibrant and familial atmosphere, where members of different generations of the province came together as one family to celebrate the love and the many graces bestowed by God. The evening was filled with fun games and lively cultural performances by our dear confreres, creating moments of joy, laughter, and togetherness. The day concluded with a meaningful agape, strengthening the spirit of communion. It was indeed a joyful evening marked by warmth, fraternity, and a deep sense of belonging—perfectly reflecting the spirit of Snehamuttom, a gathering of love.

The second day’s programme was held at the Provincial House. All gathered in the auditorium for the official gathering. The highlights of the gathering included the presentation of reports by the Very Rev. Fr. Sebastian Thundathikunnel, Provincial Superior and Rev. Fr. Thomas Cheruvil VC, Councillor for Finance and Construction. A special presentation was delivered by Rev. Fr. George Poonattu on the house construction project in connection with the Quasquicentennial Jubilee of the Congregation.

The Holy Mass, celebrated at 11:45 AM, was a solemn moment where all joined in one mind and heart to thank God for the abundant blessings granted to the Congregation and the Province. This was followed by the Office for the Dead, remembering and praying for the departed members.

With a shared meal at lunch, the two-day Family Day celebration came to a graceful conclusion. All departed to their respective houses, carrying with them renewed joy, unity, and the spirit of fraternity.
