Home Day 2025

The St. Joseph Province of the Vincentian Congregation joyfully celebrated Home Day 2025 at the Vincentian Provincial House, Kottayam.

The home day commenced with the arrival of members around 9:00 AM, followed by a common gathering at 9:30 AM. Rev. Fr. Sebastian Thundathikunnel, Provincial Superior, and Rev. Fr. Thomas Cheruvil, Councillor for Finance and Construction, presented the report, which was followed by sharing and an open discussion. At 11:15 AM, the Holy Mass and Sacerdotal Jubilee Celebration was solemnly held, giving thanks to God for the beautiful life and ministry of our dear confreres who have completed 25 years of priesthood. Rev. Fr. Antony Mecherimannil was the main celebrant for the Holy Mass, while Rev. Fr. Varghese Thoppilan delivered the homily. Rev. Frs. Pynadath Thomas and Muttathottil Peter concelebrated in the Mass.

After the Holy Mass, a felicitation meeting was held in which Rev. Fr. Moonnupeedikackal Antony greeted the jubilarians with jubilee year wishes. Rev. Fr. George Poonattu delivered the words of thanks to the gathering.

Following the liturgical celebrations, the gathering proceeded to the Rain Forest Ayur County Resort, where all participated in a joyful time of lunch, fellowship, and entertainments, making the day a memorable occasion of bonding and refreshment. Hearty congratulations to all jubilarians, and warm thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of Home Day 2025.
