Independence Day Celebration at Chowdarygach Village, West Bengal

Vincentian House, Chopra, organized a vibrant Independence Day programme in Chowdarygach village, which saw the enthusiastic participation of most of the villagers.

The event featured a variety of performances by children from the Sona Lipi Programme run by the Vincentians in the village. This centre currently educates around 50 to 60 children and was established under the Sona Lipi project to provide quality education and holistic development opportunities. Many of these children are school dropouts, and the centre is providing them with basic education while encouraging them to return to school.The celebration reflected the patriotic spirit of the community and showcased the talents of the children, highlighting the positive impact of the learning centre in the village.
