Joint Monthly Recollection Strengthens Vincentian Fraternity at Dharan

The Vincentian House, Dharan, hosted the Joint Monthly Recollection on 26 July (Sunday), bringing together the Vincentian communities of Dharan, Chopra, and Siliguri. The fathers from the Chopra and Siliguri communities arrived on the evening of 25 July, fostering a spirit of fraternity and communion. As the gathering coincided with the Feast of St. James the Apostle, the community joyfully celebrated the feast day of Fr. Lijo with a cake-cutting ceremony and fraternal fellowship.

The recollection began on Sunday morning with Eucharistic Adoration, followed by a thought-provoking conference on "Vocation and the Crisis We Face", delivered by Fr. Eugine, SDB, Rector of Don Bosco Bharoul. His reflections inspired the participants to renew their commitment to their vocation amid contemporary challenges. The conference was followed by the Sacrament of Reconciliation, offering the priests an opportunity for spiritual renewal.

On behalf of the gathering, Fr. Antony expressed heartfelt gratitude to Fr. Eugine for his enriching input. The participants then shared a joyful fraternal meal before concluding the day with a short visit to the scenic hilltop of Vijayapur Dada, where they enjoyed the panoramic beauty of Dharan.The Vincentian House, Dharan, extends sincere thanks to the Vincentian communities of Chopra and Siliguri for their presence and for strengthening the bonds of Vincentian fraternity through this meaningful gathering.
