Pilgrimage to Mariazell: A Testament of Faith - Under the leadership of Rev.Fr. Dominic Kadankavil VC

Mariazell Basilica, also known as the Basilica Mariä Geburt, is a renowned Catholic church located in Mariazell, Austria. It is the most significant pilgrimage destination in Austria and one of the most visited Marian shrines in all of Europe. In a beautiful expression of faith, Rev.Fr. Dominic Kadankavil, together with a group of devoted parishioners, undertook a three-day pilgrimage on foot to this holy site. The journey was marked by prayer, singing, and moments of reflection. Each step taken was an act of devotion to Our Lady and a sign of trust in her intercession.

On the final day, they arrived at the gates of the Basilica with hearts full of gratitude and spiritual joy. There, they were joined by other members of the parish who had travelled by bus to be part of this special occasion. United as one parish family, they entered the Basilica to celebrate the Holy Eucharist together. The celebration was filled with peace, joy, and a sense of profound unity among all.This pilgrimage was not only a physical journey but a spiritual one that strengthened the faith of the entire parish. It was a time of renewal, prayer, and deeper Marian devotion.Upon returning from Mariazell, the parish community gathered once more in their home parish, where the pilgrimage came to a close with a final blessing and prayer.The entire experience will remain a lasting memory in the hearts of all who took part. It was truly a grace-filled time for the whole parish community.
