PROJECT KOOTU - VINCNETIAN SOCIAL SERVICES

The Vincentian Social Services' Project KOOTU, in partnership with the Trivandrum Social Service Society (TSSS), recently conducted a crucial live session for field coordinators in coastal areas, where Kerala State AIDS Control Society (KSACS) officials, including Joint Director Reshmy Madhavan and Assistant Director Anjana, shared expert guidance on effective community engagement and field-level interventions to combat the stigma and discrimination surrounding HIV/AIDS. Furthermore, as part of its dedication to uplifting families affected by HIV, Project KOOTU organized a dynamic interactive session for adolescents which, under the facilitation of Punnya S Pradeep and Aparna J, used engaging activities like a creative newspaper exercise to promote self-awareness, confidence, and resilience by focusing on their individual SWOT analysis, interpersonal relationships, and team-building skills. we strive for the holistic wellbeing of every individual we serve—nurturing resilience, confidence, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
