Project Sona Lipi

Project Sona Lipi – Golden Letters, spearheaded by Fr. Arun Mattapallil and the Vincentian Social ServiceS in Chopra, is making a significant impact on local community transformation by emphasizing education and women’s empowerment. The initiative’s Child Learning Centre in Chowdhariganch village delivers free, high-quality education to 60 children, helping prevent school dropouts and eradicate child labor through a nurturing environment where every child can thrive.Additionally, two Self Help Groups (SHGs) have been established to empower local women, enhance financial literacy, build confidence, and foster leadership skills. These groups are actively creating opportunities for women to support their families and drive community leadership.​

Through “Sona Lipi – Golden Letters,” the Vincentian Social Service is advancing education, promoting empowerment, and paving the way for a brighter and more inclusive future in Chowdhariganch. The dedicated efforts and visionary leadership of Fr. Arun Mattapallil are truly commendable.
