Reception of the Newly Ordained Priests at Vincentian Minor Seminary, Pala

The reception of the newly ordained priests was beautifully conducted at Vincentian Minor Seminary, Pala, on 11 January 2026. The new priests arrived from the Generalate at 10.30 a.m. and were given a warm and joyful welcome by the Benjamins of the Province.

At 11.15 a.m., the newly ordained priests celebrated a solemn Holy Mass, which was attended by confreres from the province, sisters from nearby convents, and well-wishers from the surrounding areas.”. Following the Holy Mass, a grand felicitation meeting was held.

On this occasion, Rev. Fr. Sebastian Thundathikunnel, Provincial Superior, conveyed the heartfelt wishes of the province to the new priests and assured them of the province’s full support as they begin their priestly life in the Congregation. The seminarians added to the joy of the celebration by presenting various cultural and entertainment programmes.

The seminary campus was beautifully decorated, radiating the joy and gratitude of the Congregation for these new buds of priestly vocations. The Provincial Councillors also expressed their affection by presenting a token of love to the newly ordained priests.

Special congratulations and sincere appreciation are extended to the Rev. Fr. Ullas Vattamthottiyil, the Rector, all the fathers, and the seminarians for their dedicated efforts in making this day a truly memorable and joyful celebration for the entire Vincentian family.
