Regional Gathering: St. Xavier’s Region

Gathering of St. Xavier’s Region  was held on the 9th and 10th of December 2024, bringing together confreres for a time of fellowship, reflection, and strategic discussions. The event was honored by the presence of Rev. Fr. Provincial Superior and the Regional Superior, alongside members of the region.The gathering commenced with a refreshing day of exploration and bonding. Participants embarked on a trip to some of Chennai’s iconic sites, including Vandalur Zoo, St. Thomas Mount, Little Mount, Santhome Church, and Marina Beach. These visits provided an opportunity to relax, reflect. Later attendees returned to the Elavur Retreat Centre.On the second day, the focus shifted to more formal engagements, with a meeting presided over by Rev. Fr. Provincial Superior. Discussions centered on enhancing collaboration, strengthening the mission, and fostering unity within the community.The gathering concluded on a high note, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to come together and for the leadership and support provided by the Regional Superior and Rev. Fr. Provincial Superior.
