Renewal Programme 2026 – Cluster Meeting –“Ascend”

As part of the forthcoming Jubilee celebration of the Congregation, a Renewal Programme for the cluster communities was prayerfully conducted and successfully concluded at the Vincentian Provincial House, Kottayam, on 30 January 2026.

In preparation for the common gathering, the Renewal Team visited all the Vincentian communities belonging to this cluster, namely Thottakam, Adichira, Elanthoor, Kaloor, Thodupuzha, Aruvithura, Kanjirapally, Pala, Kuravilangad, Mylady, and the Provincial House, Kottayam.
On 28 and 29 January, under the leadership of Rev. Fr. Jomon Kaippadakunnel, along with Frs. Paul Choorathottiyil and Joby Palatty, the team met the members of each house and conducted a brief survey to understand the life, spirit, and pastoral pulse of the communities. During these visits, the confreres were warmly invited to participate in the concluding gathering of the renewal programme.

The Cluster Meeting titled “Ascend” was held on 31 January 2026 from 9.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. at the Vincentian Provincial House, Kottayam. The programme began with arrival at 9.00 a.m., followed by the inauguration by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Thundathikunnel VC, Provincial Superior, at 9.30 a.m. A spiritual session was then led by Fr. Paul Choorathottiyil VC, after which the participants had a short break at 11.00 a.m.

The gathering continued with a time of fraternal discussion at 11.30 a.m., leading into a deeply prayerful Adoration and Confession at 12.00 noon. The renewal meeting concluded with lunch and farewell at 1.00 p.m. The entire programme served as a meaningful spiritual preparation for the Jubilee celebrations, fostering unity, renewal of missionary zeal, and deeper communion among the confreres of the cluster.
