The St. Joseph Province has been granted the opportunity to begin a mission at George, in South Africa. George city is named after the British Emperor George III. The city is situated roughly halfway between Cape Town and Gqeberha on the Garden Route. It is situated on a 10-kilometre highland between the Outeniqua Mountains to the north and the Indian Ocean to the south. Fr. Manu Karingattuparambil VC has been selected to lead this inaugural mission, as a testament to his dedication and exemplary service.  

The Diocese of Oudtshoorn has warmly welcomed the Vincentian mission with great hope and anticipation. They have entrusted us with the care of a parish and provided excellent facilities to conduct prayer meetings and retreats. The diocese eagerly looks forward to the positive impact that the Vincentian charism will bring to their community.
