St. John Bosco Catholic Church, Dharan, Nepal Celebrates the Feast of Christ the King with Great Solemnity
St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Dharan celebrated the Feast of Christ the King with great reverence in a historic gathering held at Don Bosco School, Bharoul, on Saturday, November 29. Faithful from the parish and surrounding areas joined in this meaningful occasion, marking one of the most significant feasts in the liturgical calendar.
The Eucharistic celebration began at 2:00 PM by Fr. Nirmal Kummamkottil, VC, Parish Priest, as the main celebrant. Fr. Eugine, Rector of Don Bosco, delivered an inspiring homily, reflecting on the history and spiritual importance of the feast. He encouraged the congregation to embrace Christ’s values of love, humility, and mercy in their daily lives.
The Mass was con-celebrated by Fr. Cyril VC, Fr. Jisuraj, Fr. Manoj SDB, and Fr. Johnny SDB, whose presence enhanced the solemnity of the celebration. Following the Holy Mass, a reverent Eucharistic Procession moved through the school campus. Led by the Amma Samuha and the John Bosco Youth of Dharan, the procession served as a powerful public expression of faith and devotion, drawing the community together in prayer.
The event concluded with gratitude and fellowship, as parishioners celebrated the day with joy and unity.
