St. Joseph Church Babusahibpalaya (Logos) Sets World Record for Fastest Manual Copying of the Bible

St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Babusahibpalaya, Logos, Bengaluru, has stamped its name in history by achieving a World Record for the fastest manual copying of the Bible, as recognized by Best of India Records.

According to the official citation, the entire Bible in English (NRSV) was manually copied in record time by a dedicated group of 1,280 Parishioners. The historic feat was accomplished on January 11, 2026 at the church premises.

The record-setting event was organized as part of the jubilee celebrations of the parish, drawing wide participation from clergy, parishioners, and volunteers. The initiative highlighted not only remarkable coordination and discipline but also a deep reverence for Sacred Scripture and a strong sense of community faith.

Best of India Records issued an official certificate and medal to commemorate the achievement, describing it as an extraordinary example of collective effort and devotion. Congratulations to Rev.Frs. Tony Moonupeedikackal (Vicar) and Subin Kalathil (Asst. Vicar).
