Vincentian Community Leads Retreats in Mannar and Jaffna, Sri Lanka

A series of retreats are being held in Mannar and Jaffna under the leadership of the Vincentian Community in Mannar. The retreat teams, led by Fathers Augustine Mundackatt, Xavier Anthonysamy, Antony Chirackal, and Saji Choorapuzhayil, are bringing the Word of God and the healing touch of the Lord to the faithful in these regions.

These blessed gatherings were also graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Varghese Parekkattil, who came from the Elavur Retreat Centre to guide and lead the programmes. His participation added great spiritual depth and encouragement to the retreats.

In Sri Lanka, many people are still living with the memories and wounds of past traumas. Yet, their thirst for God’s Word and their longing for inner healing remain strong. The land is in great need of evangelization, and the local dioceses and parishes are warmly welcoming Popular Mission and retreat programmes. Our presence is being received with open hearts and great faith.
