Vincentian House, Logos – Bangalore Commemorating 25 years of faith

 

St. Joseph Catholic Church, Babusahibpalaya joyfully celebrated its Silver Jubilee in January 2026, honouring 25 years of faith, service, and God’s abiding presence within the parish.

The festivities commenced on Saturday, January 17, 2026, with a public meeting held in a spirit of gratitude and remembrance. The gathering was graced by the esteemed presence of Bp. Joseph Susainathan (Auxiliary Bishop of Bangalore) and Bp. Sebastian Adayanthrath (Bishop of Mandya), along with Fr. Paul Puthuva (Superior General of the Vincentian Congregation) and Fr. Sebastian Thudathikunnel (Provincial Superior of St. Joseph Province).

A solemn Holy Mass was concelebrated by Bp. Sebastian Adayanthrath and twenty-five priests. Former parish priests, religious members, parishioners, and invited guests participated in the event, which reflected on the humble beginnings of the parish, its steady growth, and the community's faithful witness to the Gospel. The encouraging words and prayers of thanksgiving offered by the bishops inspired the faithful to continue building the Church with renewed zeal and unity. The Silver Jubilee celebrations stood as a moment of thanksgiving for the past, a celebration of the present, and a renewed commitment to the future mission of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Babusahibpalaya
