Vincentian Social Services - Gloves Inspection Unit at Madonna ITI, Kanjirapilly

At Vincentian Social Services, we believe that economic empowerment is the most powerful tool in the fight against poverty. It is not just a goal—it is the ladder that helps people rise to dignity and equality.

In a proud and pathbreaking initiative, Madonna ITI, Anchilippa, Kanjirappilly has launched a women-led entrepreneurship program in partnership with Vincentian Social Services. More than 50 women now walk into a new workspace every day—a glove inspection unit developed in collaboration with Hi Care Gloves.

Women who once confined their day to household chores are now discovering the value of their time, earning an income, and embracing a renewed sense of self-worth. Their radiant smiles and newfound confidence speak volumes of the transformation taking root.

Though in its experimental phase, this unit represents a milestone in innovation and inclusion. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to Fr. Tony Kuthiramattathil and the community, whose unwavering commitment and tireless efforts have brought this vision to life.
