VOCATION CAMP 2026

The much-awaited vocation camp began by 4pm on 13^th April. The camp was formally inaugurated by Rev. Fr Mathew Kakkattuppalli VC by lighting the nilavilakku. He also gave a motivating talk to the attendees inspiring them with his words. Almost 53 students came for the camp. After the talk, the brothers arranged a rosary procession adding a prayerful touch to the evening. On the same day, we celebrated the birthday of our Rector, Rev. Fr. Ullas Vattamthottiyil VC. Though his birthday was on April 10^th since he was away for a retreat, we couldn’t celebrate it on the same day. The second day of the camp was blessed with enriching sessions by Fr. Justin Kappalumackel VC and Fr Varghese Parekattil VC. Bros Jijo Naduvathaniyil VC and Akhil Kollamala VC joined us by noon and conducted games for the students. In the evening a cricket championship was organised by the minor seminary brothers after dividing the attendees into four groups. The champions were the St Mary’s group. In the evening Fr Akhil Pathil led the adoration. On April 15^th, that is the third day of the camp we took the students for a picnic to Vagamon. It was a refreshing experience for all of us. On April 16^th we were honored to have Very Rev Fr. Sebastian Thundathikunnel VC the provincial superior with us. He interviewed the students and handed them the admission letters. We continue to keep in touch with them and expect to have a good many vocations this year. We would also like to thank all who worked tirelessly behind the camp, especially Fr Clins Malakkaran VC, the vocation promoter and all the Fathers and Brothers who helped with the various activities of the camp.
